Requirements for checking your WAEC 2024 Result

Before you access your results online, make sure you have the following:

  1. WAEC Examination Number: A 10-digit number, consisting of your 7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number.
  2. Examination Year: For this session, use the year 2024.
  3. Result Checker PIN: This PIN, found on the e-PIN voucher, can be purchased from WAEC-authorised vendors and cybercafes near you.

To buy your WAEC Result Checker e-PIN, follow these simple steps on the WAEC Request Management System portal:

  1. Visit the Portal: Go to https://request.waec.ng.
  2. Initiate Purchase: Scroll to the "Result Service" section and click on "Purchase Token."
  3. Generate Transaction ID: The system will automatically generate a Transaction ID. Keep this handy as you proceed.
  4. Select Service Type: Choose "Request For Service" under "Select a Request Type," then select "Verification of Result per Candidate" to see the price.
  5. Enter Your Details: Fill in your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address.

Complete Payment: Click "Proceed to Online Payment" to finalise your purchase. The cost for the e-PIN is ₦4,250.

Methods to Check Your WAEC 2024 Results

You can check your results conveniently online using two methods:

1. Online via WAEC’s Official Website:

  • Visit the WAEC result-checking portal.
  • Enter your WAEC Examination Number and the year (2024).
  • Choose "School Candidate Results."
  • Input the Card Serial Number and PIN from your scratch card.
  • Click "Submit" to view your results.
  • You can choose to download the page or screenshot the results to your phone

2. Via WAEC Android Mobile App:

This method is only available to Android users. To proceed, follow the steps below:

Open the app and follow the instructions to check your results using your exam number and PIN.

Offline Method: Via SMS

If you’re not connected to the internet and have already obtained an e-PIN voucher, you can use the text message option on Android or iOS.

  • Send an SMS in this format: WAECExamNumberPINExamYear to 32327. For example WAEC1234567890121234567890122024.
  • Ensure there are no spaces between the code and your details.
  • This service is available for MTN, Glo, and Airtel users at ₦30. If you don’t receive your results, try sending the SMS again.
