The tech startup founded in 2018 by Ahmed Chami, Assil Bernossi and Hicham Benyebdri, focuses on helping hotels increase their revenue online by converting their website users into guests (Direct Bookings) by curating personalised messages and intelligent incentives for visitors.

Userguest is active in more than 30 countries and has produced over $100 million in direct revenue for hotels since 2019. It plans to use the funding to improve its sales team enabling it to deepen its presence in key markets and position itself as a leader in direct revenue optimisation. The funding round was led by Al Mada Ventures with participation from CDG Invest, Saviu Ventures, UM6P Ventures, Kalys VC, Plug & Play, and business angels Philippe Limes and Thane Kuhlman.

Userguest co-founder Hicham Benyebdri stated that the development showed how confident investors are in the company’s vision to revolutionise and optimise hotel conversions and revenue in the hospitality sector

“Having solidified our market presence and earned the trust of leading hotel brands, we are now ready to elevate Userguest to new heights, enhancing hotel performance while enriching user experience, benefiting both hoteliers and travellers alike,” he said.
